Eyephases

Elevator Pitch: Eyephases was a video I made in response to my diagnosis of and operation to alleviate against 'Keratoconus', a degenerative eye disorder. Engaging with generative art (using TouchDesigner), I explore the eye as an intricate system of unpredictability and self-organization – a system which negotiated between degradation and regeneration – resonances between the enigmatic choreography of retinal cells through the ethereality of order and chaos. The mysterious dances of cellular structures wove between narratives that blended the boundaries of science and abstract visual expressions.
