Fleeting Privilege

Elevator Pitch: Inspired by Wings of Desire (d. Wenders, 1987), Fleeting Privilege aimed to tap into a metaphysical space using installation – the participant entered St. Johns Church (a naturally confessional and transcendent space) alone to find three pairs of speakers, each pair sonically displaying the ghostly conversations of two good friends, who talk openly and personally. The participant can sit amongst one or try to listen to all conversations – their metaphysical experience is temporary and privileged – being able to interact with moments of privacy and retreated locations for the genuine and the sincere.
